I guess it's only powerful in formats with powerful cards.  Seems pretty nutty in Reanimator or with Past in Flames or possibly in Dredge or with Pyromancer Ascension or even just looking for Pestermite.  But even in standard or block dumping stuff in the graveyard is good at this time.  But who cares about Standard?  Standard is always awful.

seems pretty terrible in reanimator from my point of view. even if you wanted more than four copies of careful study, why would you splash a whole new colour for them?

Really, it's just nice to see more confirmation that Wizards are putting looting effects into Red. Now if only Green could have something good....
