So who's going?  And where are you staying?  Guess I need to get a room booked soon...

just a head up to those going.  if you dont have numbered seats on those trains you will need to run when the platform is announced. they are always overbooked and people stand from euston to manchester

There must be loads of people travelling up on a Friday night since the 19:00 gets in 1 minute later than the 18:57. We should get the 19:00 anyway because surely most people will try for the earlier train...

Indeed, that's why I suggest 6:15 so we can be ready when the platform is announced!

Really looking forward to building my pool 85% correctly, going 1-0, 1-1, 2-1, 3-1 (fuck yeah!), 3-2, 3-3.  Drop, get drunk.

sorry to rain on your parade.

off peak starts at 19.00.  the 18.57 is a less busy train for people willing to pay more.  the 19.00 is a complete scrum.

Not according to thetrainline.com Thom.  The 18:57 is the first train you can get on an off peak ticket

my go-live might get canned, but I won't know until about 6pm tonight, and then won't be able to get to Manchester and arrange somewhere to stay in time for round one.

f m l...

surely you could just get an early train on the saturday and worry about where you are sleeping later!

there's a 6:55am train that gets in to picadilly at 9:07, what time does registration close?

(only about a 25% chance this will happen mind)

I could drive if I decide to go. Will have to wake up at something like 4am :/

mills why would you randomly decide to go and spend literally hundreds of pounds to play a fucking sealed deck tournament in THE NORTH while it rains constantly and you have to wake up in the middle of the night to get there

i know its 420 but not even being really fucking baked is an excuse for an idea like this

I now think we should definately get the 18:57. The website says the 19:00 and 19:20 are the busy ones, and most people probably think it's a peak train.
