For the players who were not following Warren's Cube draft event and may not know this.

Unfortunately Warren had to cancel his event, but never fear we are holding a day of cubing anyway!

When: Sunday 20th May

Venue: Penderel's Oak - High Holborn, WC1V 7HP

Start: 11:00am for a 12 noon draft

Indeed it was awesome!

Best bits of the day included Kieran's Karn being played multiple times in the same game, and the power of Pelakka Wurm. Also good was the final round of the first draft. I'm undefeated (U/B control) and playing Tom (R/B aggro) who is yet to win a match. Game one I mulligan to 5 but pull out a comfortable win anyway. Game 2 Tom gets there with burn. Game 3 Tom mulligans to 4, but I flood out and Dark Confidant and Carnophage go all the way!

Who won the graveyard cube?

I wasn't too convinced with cube the first couple of times I played. Now it's officially my favourite format. Even though I almost lost that game where I resolved Karn three times!

We played Graveyard cube sealed, which probably wasn't a good idea as Tom won with his incredibly synergistic pool and Paul came last because his had no graveyard interaction at all. I don't think sealed cube really works as a format.
