Giving something flying for a turn is great in an aggro deck if you can support an off-colour land. It gives some extra reach if your opponent has stalled the ground somehow. Crypt Ripper is especially good value for one turn of flying.

seems a little awkward if you need multipe black things but i do like the idea of things getting flying. if only they invented creatures that already had that ability.
