First pick is possibly Sorin or Bloodline Keeper.

I was thinking just Innistrad, actually, as we don't know the new set so well yet.

I was thinking Olivia or Garruk Relentless.

Guessing you just mean regular Innistrad? Devil's Play has to be the first pick since it either wins immediately or the next turn and there's almost nothing your opponent can do about it. Creature-wise I think Olivia is best, followed by Bloodline Keeper.

Devi's Play is strong.  I hadn't thought of that.  It also is one of the few cards that deals with Olivia!

First pick Spider Spawning is awesome because most of the other cards you want are useless to the others now you have the Spawning.  You can go ahead and pick good U/G creatures because hating Memory's Journey or Gnaw to the Bone or Runic Repetition doesn't make sense in the first 10 or 15 picks when they are trying to make their own deck.  You can probably even let Mulch and Shimmering Grotto sit there for a little while too.  Silent Departure and Skaabs would be your higher picks?

yep - you want spawning, mem journey, runic repetition.  last two you can wait a bit.

you want - silent departure and grasp of phantoms a lot and probably other good flashabkc removal like sever the bloodline

you want - really good ways of putting creatures in graveyard - mirrormad phanatsm, splinterfright, drownyard

you want - other ways to put things in your graveyard but these can wait

you have no real preference for creatures as they're all getting milled so who cares, skabs dont really work out as you need to hit 10+ creatures in your graveyard.

Yeah I guess Fortress Crab is all yours.  The 2 drop wolf and Gastaf Shepherd and that kind of thing, then.  Stuff that can put up a fight.  And fliers in case a nice UW deck tries to beat your face in while you are setting up.  Drownyard and Sever put stress on the mana unless you are going to go UB splash G which I guess is doable.  I also really like Falkenrath Noble in this deck but he is going to be high on a few shopping lists.

I wonder if Werewolves is any good.  You would get Moonmist and Full Moon's Rise.  Only one Moonmist though.

How much actual removal is there?  Maybe removal is first pick!

volley first pick?  confident that you could splash it if you get any of the relevant lands, or other fixing.  how highdo you think the duels would get picked?  what about the other lands like township and wolfrun?

I would 100% do this (play on mws), I also think that bloodline keeper is a pretty poor first pick in this format.
