Nottingham Nats Qualifier - Saturday

Options:

1.  I drive us up to the Ibis Hotel in Nottingham on Friday evening.  39.20 GBP for a twin room (20 quid each for sharers that can't do division, and you have 10 from not playing FNM).  Get up at a civilized hour and drive 20 mins to the site in Nuthall.

2.  Convene in Pimlico (Victoria?) at 7am or (probably) even earlier.  I drive us up and back in the day.

3.   Get the 07:30 train from St. Pancras to Nottingham and get a cab/bus the 20 minutes to the site.  There's also an 08:15 train but that is almost certainly cutting it too fine.

4.  Don't go :)

Personally I am up for making it a day trip - so either option 2 or 3.

if you decide to drive I am up for that option the most...

train-wise the LAST train back to london is 2118 getting to st pancras at 2335 (no changes)

also if we say the 1st round starts at about 11am and there are max 7 rounds --> 6pm

we can take the 20:02 train which gets into st pancras for 22:59. bu we could even take an earlier train

19:28 - 21:15 sounds very possible.

Heading up to nottingham sounds like a mission which ever way you look at it. Think I'd rather conserve my energy and get a decent nights sleep for Oxford on sunday.

saying all of this option 4 might be correct - it could all be too much effort when we have a qualifier on sunday as well that is very easy to get to.

I don't require petrol money from those doing option (1) if it makes any difference because I'm probably going to do that regardless. Getting up at 6.30am gives me the horrors.
