Magic: the Gathering in the UK

So like, who doesn't want to play Isochron Sceptre + Silence, right?

Well I fucking do, that's for sure. I saw something similar on MTGSalvation (minus the Sceptre bit), and the Timmy in my gained +1 erection.

So, I want to play IsoSilence, and then I want to win with a creature that has protection from everything. That's how I roll.

What do ya'll think of this list:

Land
4x Blinkmoth Nexus
4x Mutavault
4x Hallowed Fountain
3x Adakar Wastes
1x Boseiju, who shelter's all
3x Island
1x Plains

Win
2x Progenitus

Acceleration
4x Chrome Mox

Engine
4x Proteus Staff
4x Polymorph

Draw
4x Thirst for Knowledge
2x Ideas Unbound
1x Gifts Ungiven

Utility
4x Isochron Sceptre
4x Silence
4x Chalice of the Void
4x Remand
3x Delay

Here's how it works - lock down opponent with Iso-silence / remand / delay and Chalice. Then turn a manland into Progenitus using Proteas Staff or Polymorph.

Thirst + Ideas Unbound puts Genitus back in your deck if it ends up in your hand.

Cards to consider:
Guardian Idol
White creature speedbump cards (ala Ghostly Prison)
Gigadrowse
Mind stone / acceleration

Someone help me make this deck vaguely competitive!!!

What about Boseiju, Who Shelters All just to help Polymorph go off in case you don't hit scepter?
I like it - added.
I would probably run Wrath/Path to Exile/ Decree of Justice or another deck.
Sweeper seems pointless as Genitus can't be blocked. PtE might work, and is spicey on a Sceptre me thinks...

This isn't going to win Worlds James. It's called 'F U N'.
I think my suggestions would make the deck vaguely competitive.

Also the U/W signet and a copy of sunken ruins would be pretty good as they both work well with Thirst.

Saundering titan is also a beating if you get that bad boy out. Also Darksteel Colossus!

You could even add tron to the deck and bump up the amount of gifts.
Hold the phone...

Progenitus survives WoG, right?

In that case, I like it!

The other option for critter control is using enchantments like Ghostly Prison to control the beats... but perhaps Wrath is better?

Or maybe Engineered Explosives (with a tweak to the manabase obv)?

I agree on the acceleration in the signets - but if a 2cc accelerator is what we need, perhaps Gaurdian Idol is better than the signet?

I had a singleton Collosus in the original build, but it just get's owned by PtE - I think Inkwell Leviathan might be better for that...

The deck dies pretty hard to Blood Moon too, which sucks...

Didn't think about tron - hmmmmm.... interesting...

explain sunken ruins + thirst interaction?

Sorry ment to say academy ruins not sunken ruins. Sorry that was me being a tard.
Also forget about Wrath, EE seems to work better in the deck.
Progenitus does not survive Wrath. Colossus does. I'm not suggesting Colossus over Progenitus, though.
I didn't read it, but its bad.

you want to run teferi, you cant because you are doing some polymorphing, and you have to run infi colourless lands :(
path :(

That's one of the most retarded things you've ever said.

'I didn't read it...' the fail starts there.
