We are doing this in our Multiverse app:
(Old shared Google spreadsheet for this is here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Ag7TtjWsLhYkdHBBUHF4RG... )
Channel Fireball just did Top 8 Mechanics:
* Retrace
* Dredge
* Landfall (not for attacking like Steppe Lynx - Grazing Gladehart and Roil Elemental style)
* Scry
* Flashback
* Kicker
* Flying
* Cycling
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SiNNg5aj-xo
I wonder if we could use that, or some of that, as the basis of You Make the Set 5. I know that some of you were keen on Landfall.
Not sure when we would play it out but some time in late May probably?

Yeah I had a chance to get my blue and black cards up this morning. I'll try and get the rest up this afternoon.
We might have to do a bit of rework on the numbering once we have a bunch in there to try and get a sensible order. Generally it goes from creatures -> enchantments -> instants -> sorceries
you should do other cards that care about the top of your library
what about a cycle of enchantments
whenever you reveal the top card of your library, if it is 'insert colour' - do 'insert colour specific thing' - could be get a 3/3 beast for green, or gain life for white,
seems to fit with simons unite theme of wanting cards of the same colour together
Someone give Ross write access to the spreadsheet so he can add his cards, and Talon Trooper reprint.
return of the talon trooper - 1UW
creature - bird
whenever you first pick this card in draft, you automatically win arounds 1,2 and 3
flying
2/3
Okay I added Ross, I think. Is your email:
ross_miles AT hotmail DOT co DOT uk ?
yep
when is this thing happening and is there room for me, I now have some spare time and can get involved.
If I can I will have a butchers at the list and come up with some more balanced stuff?
Hey Glenn,
We have no firm date yet, but you are more than welcome to participate!
I'd like to pitch in as well, not sure I've got a whole chunk of cards in me but I'm sure I can help polish what we've got an patch holes where necessary
Okay I added you and Glenn to the Google doc permission list.

A tip for anyone entering P/T numbers into the spreadsheet. If you precede them with an apostrophe ' then it won't try and turn them into a date.
e.g. '2/2 will turn into 2/2
We should keep power and toughness as separate columns to enable sorting, graphing, etc. Would also solve the date problem in the spreadsheet.
