You Make the Set - Part 2

* You design and submit 45 Magic cards in Magic Set Editor format by Friday 2nd July to [e-mail]

* I print them, or you can if you have the facilities.

* On Monday 5th evening we cut them up, sleeve them and draft them.  (It was pretty boring cutting and sleeving 360 cards last time ... I'll bring a few pairs of scissors and we should be able to do it fairly swiftly prior to the draft.  I made the start time 6pm to allow for this.)

* What can possibly go wrong?

If you want to participate, sign up below.  I'm not particularly interested in limiting it to 8 and would rather include everyone who wants to be included, although possibly interest level is not enough to take us above 8.

Crap I missed the start of this, and I see there are 8 already. Count me in anyway, as I have about 20 cards I didn't submit last time, and some tweaks to some existing of mine, so I guess I will submit a mix of new and old.

evening. If allowable, i''d quite like in. ive already got 2 sets of 45ish ready to go, a fairly serious one with a 'set' feel and mechanics, and a very much un- group. i prefer the un- ones myself.

I would be very much up for this, a couple of things though, is there a decent you make the card program anywhere, if so does it only do 1 at a time or can you do lots? If I can get involved I would happily go for the all green set, I have a few ideas for card.

Glenn, in Tom's opening post it links to Magic Set Editor which is the program to use. It handles almost everything for you, you just need to enter the name, cost, types, and rules text really. Oh and pictures are good, really improves the feel of the cards.

Just click the new card button to add cards to your 'set' in the program. Then when you are done send the set file to Tom.

Wow, there's a lot of interest in this. Might have to give up on my card theme - the chances of getting enough enablers to make it work is surely too low now.

Think I'll want in as well, at least to throw some cards into the pot - although Kieran's point is a valid one, any themes we come up with will be diluted the more people participate...

I think we will split into two drafts and put ALL cards of any one person into the same draft.

How does that sound?

I will start to indicate who is in which draft at the top.
