Event Description

MK Magic Club (very) proudly announces it's first Grand Prix Trial!

It will be a trial for the Brighton Grand Prix. Format is Shards of Alara Block Sealed (2 boosters of each set) with an entry cost of £25. There will be a cut to top 8, which will be a draft.

Winner gets 3 byes at Grand Prix Brighton and a Travel/Accommodation award with a value of up to £50. There will be booster prize support as well.

Registration will start at 9.00 am with the tournament itself starting at 10.00am. The venue will be the conference suite at the Toby Carvery in Shenley Church End as usual.

I could give people lifts from the train station to where we play but I suck at directions (Dan - is it by subway?) ... I don't think it's that far so I can probably give people lifts.

Also near me. Chance of joining the sealed is low, though. I'm far too rubbish, I can't cope with the choices. and it's early. and.. stuff.

Train station is just around the corner from it.

If we ask very nicely some of the MK locals (Nicolo, James, Russ) might provide a taxi service...

Takes towards an hour and a half in the car from London. I could drive, but I'm a terrible driver.

Trains go from Euston and take 45 mins or an hour depending on which one you get. 14.50 day return.
