so wizards really hates dredge apparently. i'm interested to see just how good this is outside of dredge matchups, eg turning off Will and Snapcaster in t1

lol Ben, that was the first creature that i thought of too!

personally, what decks 'want' it in legacy? it goes against some of them i.e. snapcatser. much rather play surgical. cant really comment on T1 as ive only played two games ever.

well it does shut does GSZ when on the play, which can be a huge tempo boost. it helps against reanimator and NO as well.. like i previously said though, i reckon this is a card with 'just another one of these effects'. and imo leyline and crypt are still better. it could be better than xyalid jailer in the decks that used to sideboard him though.

hahaha, clearly I am not the only one that loves Panglacial Wurm (also the first card I thought of... didn't actually even think of dredge until a lot later... :S)

I actually played that card at regionals/nats one year... who needs primeval titan to play ramp! :P
