Magic: the Gathering in the UK

Dear Magic the Gathering player,

Congratulations you have qualified for the Great British Nationals 2009, either through Qualifying in one of the regional events, or because of your Composite, or Total Rating. Details of the event can be found at http://www.wizards.com/magic/tcg/events.aspx?x=mtg/tcg/nationals/gr... .

The Great British Nationals and the Grand Prix will be running together this year! All the excitement begins with last chance qualifiers for GB Nationals on the evening of Wednesday 5th August, in the seaside town of Brighton at the Brighton Centre, and finishes on Sunday 9th August with the GP finals!

Sweet.

I love calling it "Great British Nationals" instead of UK Nationals or GB Nationals. It sounds like the Great British Egg Race or Those Magnificent Men and their Flying Machines.

I look forward to seeing you play in a top hat and monocle.

The nailbiting final of the Great British Nationals....
Is it too much to call you by your name? Lazy admin staff or what!
Isn't it better calling it "Great Bristih nationals"... dunno where the fucking Bristih is, but i'm going going there to play nationals.

I look forward to you playing in a gorilla costume (and proceeding to go 0-2 drop).
