You've all seen the drafts like this done on Google docs spreadsheets:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AibgWfz0ukmOdG5Qb21YVW...

Let's do one online, proxy up and/or Cockatrice then play out the games?

How about all cards legal in Legacy or all cards legal in Modern for the card pool?   Or we can just do Vintage as many of the others have.

This is going to be using the Modern card pool and the Modern banned list.

Need 8 players.

1. Thomas "First Pick Cycling Land" Baker

2. Thom "Making Cockatrices Comply" Richardson

3. Simon "Lands that are also a Mox" O'Keeffe

4. Louis "Mulligan to Less than 4" Mackie

5. Dan "Famous Magic Writer and Hat Wearer" Barrett

6. Kieran "Tribal Zombies Turbofog DOES work in Modern" Symington

7. Ross "1UW" Miles Peter "Are You" Dun

8. Paul "1st Pick Gifts, 2nd-5th Picks: 8 hours each" Hodgson

The fact you hadn't thought of the deck you drafted going into the draft is worrying Tom!

there were some VERY interesting picks in that draft I would never have thought of... Mesmeric Orb, Hide/Seek, Rafiq, Marshall's Anthem, Gemstone Caverns!...

Late pick highlights:

39th pick Shrine of Burning Rage!

36th pick Jace, Memory Adept

42nd pick Luminarch's Ascension

40th pick Solemn Simulacrum

I think dan should have taken a second enchantment besides eldrazi conscription to go with his sovereigns....

Yea, I was thinking of the 3WWW life-doubling one, Angelic Destiny, or Gigantiform, but didn't have enough picks...

If any of you are online right now I have 40 minutes before work...

I beat Dan 2-1.  g1 he managed to Plow Under my two lands then after I replayed them play Eternal Witness for Plow Under and do it again.  I never saw a card that wasn't in the top 9 in my deck when the game began!  g2 was a beating in the other direction.  g3 was interesting but a 4/4 pro-UBRG Mirran Crusader is not to be trifled with!

I installed and built my deck in Cockatrice late last night, so I think I'm good to go on there. I'm out all night tonight, so will see if I can get some games in on Friday night.

I'll also try to build a physical copy of my deck and bring it on Saturday.

Bringing my physical copy to FNM and PTQ.

If you are too poor/scared to print your deck at home/work you better let me know soon and I'll print you some proxies.  They might be b&w.

Tom, can you print mine off for me? I'm on a client site so not really able to abuse the printer.

If you want to bring my deck as proxies to PTQ go for it, but otherwise I'll just play everything on Cockatrice.

If anyone wants to catch me around 8 tomorrow morning, that's a good time for me to get a match in.

Will do Paul.  Won't bother if you don't want the proxies Dan.

Thanks Tom
