Magic: the Gathering in the UK

Just a public record of our barbecue-related transaction yesterday evening at M's (thanks M! Love that potato salad!)

I should probably note that in turn Rob Stanjer and Gary Lynch owe Steve 3 boosters each.

Mr. B now owes me 5 boosters. And I owe him the foil Noble Hierarch that I am holding hostage until I receive them.
I dont see any contracts saying me and Rob owe Steve anything :P
Neither a borrower nor a lender be, folks ...
Tom, in your futile attempt to recoup your alara reborn boosters by imporisioning my Foil Noble Hierarch you have breached the boundaries of natural law and justice.

What do you think this will achieve?

As many Western governments state - "Do not negotiate with terrorists!"

I hope that your conscience will guide you Mr Baker and the Foil Noble Hierarch will be returned ASAP.

Btw Gary Lynch owes me 3 boosters, 4 Rugged Prarie and some amount of anathemancers, bloodbraids and bit blasts.
In all human relations I try to operate on a tit-for-tat basis similar to that detailed in Robert Axelrod's "The Evolution of Cooperation" and discussed in many subsequent works on Game Theory and in particular the Prisoner's Dilemma. I'm sure you can draw the necessary conclusion from this information.

Never read Robert Axelrod's "The Evolution of Cooperation" - wasn't he an advisor to Clinton, but am assuming it follows along similar lines to the Old Testament "eye for an eye".

I must have written at least 3-4 essays on the prisoners dilemma concerning pollution permits, nuclear proliferation and the relation between the political class and the electorate, however i might have to consult my text books for advice on the eternal "reborn boosters against foil hierarch" problem.

How about i bring in the boosters if we can sort out the foil nexus and enigma sphinx trade.
All the tit-for-tat strategy suggests is that your next action towards someone should be in a similar vein to their last action towards you. Axelrod goes on to make the basis for a complete philosophy of existence based on the results of some computer simulations of the Prisoner's Dilemma. I'm not sure I'd go that far but he makes a pretty good case.
Demonic Tutor: hotbed of social darwinism. Steve is Ayn Rand's bitch.
