EDH Card Choices

I finally got around to getting the machine to compile all the known EDH decks into one database. There are some duplicates and a lot of typos, not all of which can be auto-corrected (which means the card is ignored). But the first pass shows the following as the top 100 EDH cards from approximately 540 decks.

Sol Ring is the top non-land card. Demonic Tutor is the top colored card. Hinder is the top U card. No Legendary Creature makes the top 100 but Akroma, Angel of Wrath is at 111th and Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir is at 125th.

1617 cards appear in one deck only. 4834 different cards are represented in total which is more than 40% of all cards ever printed.

The data quality (spelling errors, etc.) of the decks I've harvested are actually pretty terrible. I've flung 60 of the best (over 90 cards, actually have an identifiable general) up here:

But the data is going to need a lot of sanitizing before I can do anything properly interesting with the bulk of it.

Due to a bit of a cockup in my code some legendary lands are identified as generals in the deck lists (!) I'll fix this when I have more time.

Yeah, that's where I got them from. I have screen-scraped all of the MTGO-format decklists from all of the linked posts but even the sane ones are full of misspellings and the wrong number of cards, etc. Fixing them by hand is too painful to bear so I will have to write some kind of sanitizer/spelling corrector.
