Magic: the Gathering in the UK

Good day chaps

I am trying to build a new EDH deck and am trying to come up with something even close to original, started looking at creature types that have enough options and isn't to popular so I have come to the conclusion that CLERICS is clearly the choice.

So firstly any reasonable ideas on splits, land creatures, spells etc

Also I have a list of all the clerics ever printed and am wittling it down slowly but the spells and lands I am having some trouble with.

Any suggestions would be welcome and anyone with some of the older commons that I could nab would be a massive help

It's original in the sense that no one at the games club except Nathan has done it! Think he's got them all in foil too...

Anyway, with a view to being even remotely helpful I guess you'll be looking at a B/W general. Here are your choices:

Pretty sure I'd go with Ghost Council as a Cleric deck general.

although surely Angus Mckenzie surely would be the best named general

Ghost Council is a spirit though not a cleric

also if Nathan has already done them I will pick a different creature type then, any suggestions?

Been done to death though hasn't it? Don't think Glenn is going for ultra competitive EDH here!

Just pick a general you like with some decent ability(s) and build around it using cards you like. Much more fun than most of the generic "good stuff" EDH decks I've seen.

Like, I doubt anyone else is playing concussive bolt in their constructed decks, but it's sick in mine.

A Lovisa Coldeyes deck with only creatures she pumps?

A Skeleton Ship proliferate-themed deck, highlighting the most random Legend in the history of Magic?

A Seshiro Snake tribal deck?

Braids, Conjurer Adept with a ton of ways to steal things once they get put into play for free?
