Archenemy on Saturday

So the Archenemy release is this Saturday, and it would be nice to have more than the three people who have signed up so far attending. Planechase release was pretty good, and this looks like an even better format. It could well be the last time Magic is fun since the next release is M11! Plus, there's some actual decent cards in the decks - especially if you're looking to build an EDH deck. How could anyone resist?

Depends how much they are - obviously i want to get as much standard practise in before Nats as possible, but may play this later in the day.

I'm planning on going on Saturday, mainly for the Archenemy thing, however I have a deadline on the Friday after so won't be able to go if I have a huge amount to do for then. Should be OK for one day though.

How does the Archenemy event work? Im guessing there is one person with one of the pre-made Archenemy decks against multiple other people, but what decks do the other people play? Do they also need to get an Archenemy set and play the deck from that (sans oversized deck), or bring along any deck they already have and play that? If any deck, what format? Standard, Extended or Legacy?

i'll be in one saturday for some legacy and maybe standard games, and gogo league as well!

From what I gather, each player gets an Archenemy deck for £20, and four players play a multiplayer game. One player plays as the Archenemy using their precon deck and the Scheme cards from it and the other three play against him using only their precon deck.

Are the Legacy 8 mans sanctioned, i.e. are proxies allowed?
