Games Club Saturday Prerelease CANCELLED

I don't have all the exact details, but due to what I believe to be screw-ups on the part of the Royal National, there is no longer a venue for the Scars of Mirrodin Prerelease tomorrow. I'm sure there will be a more detailed announcement either on the Games Club site or on here later, but I just wanted to give everyone a heads-up. I don't know if there is any prospect of moving it, but I doubt it this late on Friday.

If it is true, pretty sure Jason isn't going to let several thousand pounds fall through his fingers (or his players be left bitterly disappointed) - I have confidence he'd sort "something" out.

Also this would ruin my birthday plans somewhat, yay...

If there were more notice, maybe. The Champions prerelease could be moved with about two days notice (and at huge expense), but less than 24 hours? I doubt it :(

It seems the event has been removed from TGC website...


So more importantly, what will we do instead if this is really not happening - I still have bowling booked for 2 hours tomo eve, y'all better still be coming!

Just had a look at the TGC website, and the announcement for the Regional pre-release has been removed from the site, only the Local one for Sunday is there :(

Hoping that's so they can confirm the alternate arrangements, but at this late notice I'm doubtful
