Magic: the Gathering in the UK

Is it me or is this way less interesting than we thought it was going to be?

And are all the contestants bad or are the judges just really harsh?

Where are you finding the coverage? And I would expect loucks to be good, but to some extent the judging is usually just can you read maros mind and know what he wants?
I didn't find it that interesting before, I don't think it's that interesting now.
Coverage turns up in my RSS feed. You click on the guy's name and you get giant essays from each of them with copious notes that basically say: "this is a total failure you are doing it fundamentally wrong" a lot.
I wasn't interested until I heard they were failing so very badly. Now I love it. Don't know what that says about me as a person, but it can't be anything good.
It may be less interesting because, as a clever and/or advanced player, you would care slightly less about simpler commons they've been designing, and want to see more complicated cards (which I think is what a lot have been trying to do, but told off becuase common cards are supposed to have a low complexity for new players etc.), which would normally be on rare/mythic.
