Pub Crawl Timings
I'm currently working out the timings for the pub crawl so that people can join throughout the day and have a reasonable idea of where we are going to be.
To do this I need to know roughly how long other people think they take to drink a pint.
I can happily drink a pint every 15 - 20 minutes (but have been known to knock one back every 10 - 15 minutes).
Does 30 minutes sound about right per pub or do we need longer?
And how long to consume a can of larger?

30 mins sounds about right.
A can probably 20 mins.

30 Minutes per location (plus an extended stop for food) would work out as follows:
Marlborough Head 11:00am - 12:00pm
Pontefract Castle 12:00pm - 12:45pm
* LSBU Student 1:15pm - 2:00pm
* The George 1:15pm - 2:00pm
The Ship 2:15pm - 2:45pm
Camel & Artichoke (formerly The Elusive Camel) 3:15pm - 3:45pm
The George 5:00pm - 6:30pm
* Florence Nightingale 4:00pm - 4:30pm
County Hotel 7:00pm - 8:00pm
Royal National Hotel 8:15pm - 8:45pm
Imperial Hotel 9:00pm - 9:30pm
Tavistock Hotel 9:45pm - 10:15pm
* BYOB

i like option 2. it means i can get 2 drinks per pub if i want.
so option 1 the food is in county and option 2 food is in george?

I'm planning for the food to be available at The George in both options.
We can afford to spend a little extra time at The County in the first option and it didn't seem like a bad idea, as it would allow people to catch up or join.

So is everyone meeting at the Marlborough Head at 11 or somewhere else before hand?

Amar likes the idea of meeing somewhere to eat breakfast before starting.
Are you doing the pub crawl or the PTQ. Think before you answer one of the options makes you a big "Peter Dun(esque)" loser.

Y'see I was going to have a fry up round my way but if you lot are thinking about meeting up before hand and having one then I might as well do that.
Shame the cafe near me is pretty damn nice.
