i was going to consider buying a box of this set but then i remembered that product is expensive now
nice job wi$ards
Incidentally, we have New Phyrexia singles up for pre-order now! http://bit.ly/fmZV7H
The 1 mana Green infect guy can allow turn 2 kills in standard combined with the free pump spell, you need at least two of them though, plus some number of other pump.
Edit: actually with Assault Strobe you only need 1 free pump spell. This sounds even more inconsistant than Tom's 3/1 first strike infect deck!

re: mental misstep - Foils will likely be $20+, mind
Also you guys missed groundswell, 3 card combo for turn 2 kill.
Agreed, path isn't really comparable. I'm by no means advocating buying this card, especially given the amount us lot draft. Was simply pointing out that the card is getting a lot of heat for it's legacy potential.
Wizards must be pissed that this got leaked, they've been trying to clamp down on spoilers for the last couple of releases, and this time around we get the whole thing 2 and a half weeks before the prerelease!
Obliterator doesn't really have a home.
Depends on what you're running - duress/inquisition, gatekeeper, persecutor, nantuko shade, mind sludge, gftt/doom blade, grave titan, mimic vat, sheoldred, end of life/BSZ?
hmm, actually that looks a bit spicy...

I think MBC means that it makes its own home.

This set has so much potential for terrible, inconsistent combo decks. There's a blue version of Conspiracy. Time for Turntimber Ranger to make a comeback I think!
