I played against that deck online.  It was terrible!  The guy complained he didn't get enough mill though.. how did Nathan do?

I think the deck is fine without being great.  It's all cards noone else wants.  I can't remember if Nathan went 2-4 or 3-3, but at least one of his wins was a late game misplay turning a win into a loss, and against me he was 1 card away from killing me. (granted, my draw was really slow).  I've been beat in best-of-three by it before.

I guess you can really only mill them out on turn 7 reliably, and that's with having 2x chronic flooding.  So you'd probably need at least 4 of these and 2 spiral/codex, and then the rest of your deck is just slowing them down.
