Yes I'm free. We could combine with rugby watching somewhere.
Scotland | v | Wales | 14:30 | |
Ireland | v | France | 17:00 |
England | v | Italy | 15:00 |
Simon my thoughts EXACTLY, say meet up somewhere at 12, start drafting at 12.30, bust out as many games as possible before the 1st game then whoever wants to watch the rugby can. Venue suggestions? I know the pendrall has the tv downstairs but not to sure if it will be on?
I don't think the Penderells Oak will show the games, so we may have to look for alternatives. Finding a pub with decent table space, good lighting, and actually showing rugby might be tough. This one in South London looks good, but obviously may not be ideal for some people to travel to.
The Alexandra - Clapham Common
The alex will be *fucking rammed* on six nations day, no way you'll get a table large enough and keep the hordes of rugby shirt wearing old etonians away
Hah!
I've been past but never inside, good to know.
Maybe we need somewhere that isn't a 'rugby' pub?

Saturday is the Modern PTQ (in London) so I'm not sure how many people will be free for cubing
To be fair I think you will be able to find an event every week, but I only looked at the games club website not darksphere. If numbers are low we'll move it, no problem.
Ah I didn't realise that either!

Don't have a massive TV or a big table, but I can accommodate about 4 at my place... I also cannot be arsed to try to play a PTQ
we could just do a beer and board game thing then, might be better? I don't really mind about venue to be honest?
I should be around and have no interest in Modern right now. Beer and cubing is always good, though.
PS. How is the cube actually looking? Last I heard it was only 50% filled!
