Probably just a super-noob draft pod.
Plus green is awful. Every draft where I am not sidetracked into Green by a Gladheart or a Harrow or a Terra Stomper is a draft well spent. Enjoy your thirteenth pick, you have no evasion and no removal.
Picking Gladehart != mono green deck Mr Baker!

I don't want green cards in my deck!

OK-good green commons: Grazing Gladheart, Harrow, Oran-Rief Survivalist, Vines of Vastwood, Nissa's Chosen (requires heavy green commitment to get proper value),

Compare with: Bladetusk Boar, Burst Lightning, Goblin Shortcutter, Highland Berserker, Plated Geopede, Shatterskull Giant, Slaughter Cry, Spire Barrage, Torch Slinger, TukTuk Grunts.
You did read the bit at the top which says this was a swiss draft.

Swiss = Noobland
I always play Swiss.

This may not be a counterpoint.
The UG landfall deck is a real contender for the best deck in the format. You run harrow and Khanli heart expeditions. Load up on landfall guys like the Baloth Woodcrusher, the 6/6 landfall guy, gladehart, windrider eel, ior ruin expedition, living tsunami. Fill out your curve with decent costed creatures, welkin tern, umara raptor, survivalist if you can manage some allies. Being UG you don't have much removal (outside turntimber basilisk) so pick the bounce spells and paralysing grasp a bit higher.

In this case, clearly green creatures aren't going to win you the games, its the blue fliers but green provides the core landfall engine in harrow and khanli heart.

I agree that for the most part you want to be drafting black or red, but if i'm getting passed these landfall cards, it's easily a 3-0 deck.

And the Green is really contributing more to the Blue-Fliers-of-Death than a Hideous End and a couple of Disfigures or a Burst Lightning or two? I'll have to give it a try.

(Isn't Khalni Heart Expedition just bad? Nice late game topdeck :S)
Removal is removal. However, blue-green offers a very synergistic deck and if other players shun green like yourself (this does seem to be a popular opinion at the moment) I think it's perfectly reasonable to cash in. LSV dedicated a whole column on ChannelFireball to this a while back:

green is good obv

ive drafted greenblue a few times and won most of my matches
Green seems to get loads of crap but strange? I have 3-0d my last 3 onlines (ok only all 4-3-2-2) and all involved green at least as a support colour (RG, RG, Rg, Bg). If a G/x or X/x strategy is open - obviously take it! I am starting to like Zendikar finally. There always seems to be a winning strategy open.
