There are various sources of funds. It depends on what kind of course you are doing and what institution you are studying with. You can get information from: - Learner Support Helpline on 0800 121 8989 7am to 8pm.
This page is also very good. Although it is aimed mostly at A-Level students of school leaver age it has good sections on "Other Sources of Funding" and "Over 19s Can Learn and Earn Too":

You can't get Education Maintenance Allowance because you are over 19 but you may be able to get:
- Discretionary Support Funds - If you're at a college, speak to your student support or welfare officer.
- Adult Learning Grant (ALG)
- Career Development Loan (CDL)
