+1 for this. Im fucking getting there this time.
when?
This weekend.
Ok everyone I have a problem. My girlfriend is out of the country from tonight and I have switched to monthly pay (still only on sick pay) so I wont have any money till the end of the month.

Can anyone lend me the money to get to the PTQ's and play in them? My girlfriend is willing to pay it back, she gets paid on the 26th.

Big ask I know, but if you dont ask you dont get.
I can also offer 10% APR interest, thats double what you would get in the bank :)
I can lend you some money on Friday at TGC.
Thanks. See you then.

It starts at 10am!!! Registration closes at 09:45. Trainwise this means leaving King's Cross at 08:15 (arrive 09:02) or 08:45 (arrive 09:31) depending on how fine you want to cut it. Venue is 45 min walk, 12 min car from the station according to Google Maps so probably the 08:15 and a cab/bus.

A car doesn't make it much better, timewise, but is obviously better for other reasons. Google Maps says an hour and a half out of Central London, 1hr 20 from Brent Cross (last place I got a lift to Magic event from - not chosen entirely arbitrarily!)

Anyone driving?
NOBODY'S DRIVING!

(That's a reference to a song by a late 70's punk band called Amebix)

Me and Mills will more than likley be attending this event. £20 is quite steep though and im not sure I fancy walking 45 mins. Although im even less likley to be paying for a cab.

Also the 8.15 wouldnt be early enough to get there and walk the 45 mins so it would need to be before that.

I anyone interested in getting the train? I can't go to Southampton so I'll have to go to Cambridge.
Train tickets are £20 return.
Also what about Southampton? Will need a lift to this as the train is far too expensive. Anyone?
My car doesn't get back to London until Sunday night :(
