Magic: the Gathering in the UK

Does anyone have any plans for watching the England game tomorrow evening?

Would like to do something involving drinking and shouting, with people after work tomorrow for the England game, as Hana and other Camden natives are totally disinterested... Open to suggestions!

Could always watch it at the games club.
There's no tv in the main room, and the atmosphere of creepy old local guys and Northern visitors to the capital in the bar isn't exactly "enthralling"...

Broadgate Circle at Liverpool St is showing the game on a giant TV. That's where I'll be.
Let's go somewhere that is:
A. Inside
B. Not Busy
C. Does decent food.
D. Not amazingly expensive

Obviously the County doesn't fit criteria C

Watching the match outside on a massive screen with loads of other people is poo!
Remember the World Cup is really important to James, so expect him to fall asleep and snore for 10 hours.
Well it is England playing so I'm likely to fall asleep.

Does this mean you are going to be about Friday eve then James? Thought you were going for a curry or something?

Anyways, i'm willing to sacrifice on B, as i don't think anywhere showing the game will be quiet. I finish work at 5 on Friday, where/when you wanna meet?

I just had a call saying people are bothering to go so I thought - cool my Friday is now free.

I actually don;t mind if it's expensive because I'll have plenty of wonga. Can't get too pissed though as I am working the next day.

K well, what time can you be down to Euston by?

If all else fails, we can always stream the game on my new computer/TV, or go to The Enterprise
I can be at Euston by maybe 7 - 7.30

Streaming is not an option - wanna go somewhere cool to watch.

I was kinda intending to be stuck into my second or third pint by 7... do you have any pubs in mind?

The Enterprise, Barfly, The Monarch @ Chalk Farm
Ice Wharf, that one we went to before burgers @ Camden
The Rocket @ Kings Cross
One of the hotels @ Russell Square

are options as far as i'm concerned.
that game was wank
