so wizards really hates dredge apparently. i'm interested to see just how good this is outside of dredge matchups, eg turning off Will and Snapcaster in t1

Card is unreal good in Vintage, stops Tinker-Colossus too, also stuff like Natural order/GSZ in Legacy, fetching up Dryad Arbors, etc.

Sadly it is best MD in Shops, which is the deck I hate the most.

Goodbye Forgemaster MUD, it was nice knowing you :(

Another card for your hate bear deck though Phil.

I take it this stops you from casting spells from the top of your library. This shuts down cascade, right? And things like Garruk's Horde? Oracle of Mul Daya should be unaffected as it only cares about land, which aren't cast, is that right?

They might as well have worded it:

"Players can't cheat things into play in any way" :D

Doesn't stop cascade, Simon (creature comes from the stack), but Future Sight type things, yea.

Does it not stop cascade? I might be reading it wrong but I thought you were casting the card from your library, which isnt allowed by this..

Cascade exiles all the revealed cards from the library.

"(When you cast this spell, exile cards from the top of your library until you exile a nonland card that costs less. You may cast it without paying its mana cost. Put the exiled cards on the bottom in a random order.)"

tbh this card doesn't affect the vintage meta that much. while shutting down tinker pretty effectively, most decks should still be able to get a non creature out. also, as it is a 1 mana cost artifact it is easy to deal with because of the popularity of MUD people always run artifact hate. I don't know, while obviously a very powerful effect i do not see this card breaking the meta game. against dredge you much prefer actually removing the cards from the game as if they deal with it they can then go off...

Which is why I'm secretly not too fussed about this one really, I'd much prefer people play this than Leyline or Crypt tbh

The EDH powerhouse Panglacial Wurm is GOING DOWN.  Sell them now while you still can!!

Is this really going to be played in EDH? I don't play it much but I wouldn't use a slot on it when I could play Relic or Nihil Spellbomb
