Ok I went 1-3 (again). Not sure about some others but Ben T made top 8. He got paired against Steven Murray. He lost game 1 then the judge came over to speak to Steven. It looked like he was going to get a game loss but it got cleared up. Then the judge spoke to ben and he got a game loss for miss registered deck. :(

Congratulations to Phillip Donald of Southampton for winning the Swiss, and his good sport of dropping to give someone else a change in the top 8. He could not attend the Pro Tour. Craig Jones from Coventry took the opportunity but fell just short finishing runner up :(

Also congratulations to Stephen Murray from Scotland, who many of you will remember as a regular player at Southampton Borders for winning the event ,and taking the trip to San Diego. Throughout the tournament I joked with Stephen that he was considered a Southampton player while he was winning and when he lost he would be that guy from Scotland lol.

Yeah getting a game loss after losing game 1 of the quaters sucked pretty bad. I never fuck up those sheets... guess there's a first time for everything, just a shame my first time was a PTQ top 8.
