Anyone going to Amsterdam (Sep 3-5) and/or Gothenburg (Aug 28-29, weekend after Nats)?

Jason is working both.  Paul H is going to Gothenburg as he won the GPT on Saturday.

Looks like at least me and Nathan are going 1st-6th September, probably joined by Mills + Thom.

Anyone else joining?
I will be out on the 2nd to the 5th, will have to have a big day on the sauce while out there, Dan what are you thinking of playing in, I won't do the LCQ again after prague (over a thousand people for only 1 slot, started at 9 in the morning and the slot was taken at after 3 in the morning), there isn't any side event info but might do a ptq or something similar
Is anyone else currently planning to Gothenburg?
I am still intending to, but I haven't bought tickets etc yet.
I don't think i want to play in a huge event like an LCQ or PTQ, too much like hard work when i'm supposed to be "on holiday".

Think i'll be going for Std/Ext/Legacy side events most likely, and maybe some sealed/draft.

Liar, liar, pants on fire (or you were pissed at the time and can't remember accurately).

Slots = 8 (increased from 4, due to the number of players)
Players = 411
Round 1 pairing = 16:48

The Public Event Schedule was finalised last week, it's waiting for approval and should be online very soon.
Well, this sounds a lot more managable.

it most certainly did not old bean, I am not to sure we are talking about the same one but it is definately not the one you talked about as there was definately 1 slot, there were more people taking part in the lcq than a lot of gp's, the reason I remember it so well was that they had to use the whole arena floor. I also remember going 4-0 and losing the next one and even winning out wasn't going to make it, it was absolutely nuts. I think it was something like 4 or 5 years ago

There's only ever been one Pro Tour held in Prague (2006 in SAZKA ARENA).

I was the Side Event Manager and referenced the tournament files before posting.
Oh Jason, you can prove *anything* with facts!

Bit more on topic I'm almost certainly *not* going to either of these any more as I'm hanging out in California once more. I'll probably miss Nats and what not too :( Was looking forward to bossing the side events. To make up for it I will be introducing LSV et. al. to Teachings cube at the Channel Fireball shop :)
I'm afraid I've since ditched the idea. I do intend to do bochum though!
Good luck!

I am going to Gothenburg having got the byes. The last time I was there many years I was shafted in my professional work by the machiavellian IT department of Volvo Corporation. Rascals! So hope for a better result this time. Prolly not going to Amsterdam, since I will be taking holiday the two previous weeks.
