Wild Griffins' got my favourite flavour text in M11:

Farmers typically keep their flocks at thirteen sheep—one to distract the griffins while they take the other twelve to market.

I personally don't like the card diminish but apart from that you deck is insane, you 3-0 right?

Also Diminish seems okay here, as it gets through Spiders and the bigger fliers just fine.

It was actually an 8-4 if you could believe that! Opened Mind Control pack one and pack two. Made the final and glad I agreed to the split as I got flooded, all I was seeing was land and griffins!

Re Diminsh, I really like this card, 80% of the time it is as good as U: Destroy target creature, Ok they can pump it or bolt your guy or whatever, but matches 1 and 2 it was great and really gave me the tempo I needed to fly in for the win. Incidentally I only saw Mind Control once and never saw the Archon...!

The Archon might be the weakest card in your deck actually, purely because it doesn't fit in with the rest of your deck's plan at all.


Also when I first saw this thread I thought it was about Jason's favourite strip-pub...
