Anyone done this?  How does it measure up against Winston for two players apart from taking longer?

Ive done it once or twice, its hard hard work but quite fun if you are up for the effort.

Before Winston was invented this was a semi-popular draft format. Some people called it Fact or Fiction draft and only did it by separating groups of 5 cards into piles, but the theory is the same.

It can be a bit laborious to go through, but if he players are of comparable skill level it can be pretty good, otherwise it is often one sided.

 

You could say that a good player crushing a bad player is a feature - more skill testing!  I should probably stay away from it  ... :)
