I know from recent experience that le Shuttle to France is 69 quid one way, that Lille is near Calais and that a car seats four people comfortably.  That's good math, cost-wise.  I don't have a Standard deck but that wouldn't necessarily stop me if enough people were going.  Looks like I have wussed out on Madrid as flights have gone up to near 200 quid (return).  You're not doing Madrid I take it?

Madrid is too nearby timewise. I'm expecting to take a couple  of days to recover from jet lag. Otherwise I'd go- despite how horrible I am at this draft format.
