No, if I was U I would play mana leak and mooreland haunt, if I was R I would play bezerker and lightning mauler if G maybe pilgrim and Mayor possibly champion of lambholt.

 

R also gives me access to Zealous Persecutor in the sideboard.

 

It's confusing, seems like there are a lot of options.

If you're full-on tribal humans I don't think you want blue - snap/delver want spells, whereas Champion etc reward you for playing more creatures.

Champion is an auto 4 of, I want to try and mess with Delver enough with Thalia and Grand Abolisher.

 

Obv playing 4 Hero of Bladehold.

Really need to work on a decent sideboard. R actually gives me a lot of options in that respect.

I get the impression that delver is so popular that I may have to play 4 grand abolisher.

I think I like R more than green, persecutor can be a complete beating - also mauler & hero of bladehold is just insane

I am inclined to agree, well I'll give it a whirl this saturday and see what's going on. Would be most grateful if anyone has any caverns they can lend me.

 

What do people think about restoration angel in the humans deck?

I wouldn't recommend Abolisher, just play Thalia and Misstep. I've found running any Red non-creature spells really stretches the manabase. I don't think GW is good because all the best Green humans have a heavy green mana requirement, so you end up with a more midrange deck.

Lightning Mauler is awesome, helps you apply pressure after board wipes and sets up T4 kills with Hero of Bladehold, and sometimes the Double Strike guys. Restoration Angel is probably bad in Red humans, probably not doing much in the others either.
