Finalists get flights to Rome and entry in a competition on the Sunday with a nice prize (flights but not entry to all PTs next year).

I topped the swiss at 5-0-1 with an ID against Rob in Round 5. Rob messed up the plan of finishing 1st and 2nd in the Swiss (and thus guaranteeing opposite sides of the draw in Top 8) by losing his last round match.

I won my quarter-final, so did Rob. I lost to Rob in the semi-final in the mirror match (same exact 75). Rob played out the final with nothing but rating at stake against a guy he beat in the Swiss but lost.

This deck is now 27-3 (30-6 including mirror matches) in sanctioned Magic (6-0 Rob Nats, 7-1 Rob PTQ, 6-2 Roque PTQ, 6-2 Rob PtGStW, 5-1 Tom PtGStW). Nice deck! Gutted that the big tree is rotating out in less than 3 weeks ...

If Rob's gonna be too lazy, i might as well write an article on the best deck no one knew about...
