post-Zen standard metagame [league]

While deck-lists will be secret this time around, i don't think it hurts us to have an open discussion of what decks may turn up. A few ideas:

- lots of baneslayer decks, 1-3 colours of all combinations
- 5-colour (cascade) ala Alara block format
- mono-B (vampires)
- mono-W (soldiers)
- Jund cascade (hi Steve and Paul Young!)
- W/R control
- Some white deck playing 8 pacifisms
- Lots of decks with lotus cobras that die straight away
- Someone trying to mill you with Archive trap and failing

Yea if i get it sorted before then sure - and i agree, you shouldn't mind too much, because if anyone is willing to metagame against just your deck, they're silly.

Agreed, realistically Kieran is never going to be a threat.

i think, for once, kieran may actually have a competitive deck - as long as he goes for vampires!
i wont have time to play in this league though :(
as long as the extended or the next standard league starts during or after Nov 09 I can do that though!
But if i was gonna play i would play zoo (with ranger of eos)

More, it's only 1 deck out of 15, you should concentrate on beating 14 mixed decks rather than 1 specific one
