Teachings in everything :P
Dredge?

A few years ago standard - Mystical Teachings Control. (Second ever serious deck - used Sengir Nosferatu for his hard to kill factor before I saw Skeletal Vampire)

Standard sometime after- Pickles (My last standard deck which I played long after it was viable. My first "prison deck")

Legacy:
Death And Taxes - Never the same game twice, so many cool interactions. Flickerwisp remains one of my favourite legacy cards and I think it should see more play. If it were W2 instead of WW1 it would be everywhere.
Dragon Stompy - The post Tauren Mauler versions with Red Akhroma, one of the most stylish ways to commit sucicde in legacy. Yes, that is a gathan raiders
Demon Stompy - Only ever played it at the kitchen table but if you have never put a grafted wargear on a persecutor you are missing out - http://www.deckcheck.net/deck.php?id=33738

Hope your all well,
Geach

Why would you even look at howling mine when you could attack for a bazilion damage, while wearing chin rings!?!!?!

Does anyone have Robs old Doran decklist? Would be interesting to see how close it is to the extended ones...

To answer your question, I've had extended love affairs with various flavours of Kithkin and Goblins that are well documented.

Other decks I've greatly enjoyed include Light From Within (the first time I won FNM), and a Mono-W control deck around the time of LOR-> std, that won using Mistveil Plains and Story Circles, with the Enchantment tutors and a singleton Endless Horizons.

5cc was also very fun (particularly Gary's ~90 card singleton, or my ~13 planeswalkers one), wish I had played something like that at Nats last year.

Vintage dredge, extended Zoo, and various decks that either take forever to win or can only win in the first 6 turns by turning men sideways - I'm not much of a mid-range or combo kinda guy.
Rob's list was something like:

4 Treefolk Harbinger
4 Noble Hierarch
4 Birds of Paradise
4 2/2 Deathtouch Elf (??)
4 Tidehollow Sculler
4 Doran, the Siege Tower
4 Wilt-Leaf Liege
2 Chameleon Colossus

4 Thoughtseize
X Nameless Inversion
X Path to Exile (??)

4 Murmuring Bosk
4 Gilt-Leaf Palace
4 Treetop Village
4 Llanowar Wastes
X Forest
X Plains
X Swamp

Hmmm ... my memory isn't as good as I thought it was going to be :) Colossus was key in the mirror. I guess the extended version preferred Duress to Sculler and had a way better manabase and a lower curve and the successful decks mostly didn't run the accelerants. But Harbinger for Harbinger for Doran, Thoughtseize taking your removal, Doran is still a possible turns 1-2-3 leaving you with 11 power of men having already done 6 damage and their removal spell in the bin. Or Treetop Village instead of Thoughtseize for the done-6, about to do 14 plan.

Snakes (COK - RDG) in Standard
Teachings (Time Spiral) and UGr bombs (Kamigawa) in Block
Destructive Flow Rock (my version, not Stuart Wright's) & Psychatog in Extended
Those were all really cool decks.
How about that devastating dreams lfl deck you played at least once- remember you being very vocal about that.

Man... decks!

Uh...

The first Standard deck I ever fell in love with, Hatred.
The first Extended deck I ever fell in love with, Countersliver.
The Vintage deck that I still had the non-Lotus cards for as recently as a couple of years ago despite it being completely terrible for the last 10, Black/Green Nether Void.
The first deck that ever -completely mindfucked me- and still nearly got me to the Top 8, Full English Breakfast.
The most fun deck in Masques Block that wasn't Rebels and Waters, Mono-Black Midrange, Thrashing Wumpus and all.
The FNM DOMINATING POWERHOUSES that were BRW and BRG Machinehead (midrange aggro, with a reasonable amount of discard and spot removal - Duress, Gerrard's Verdict, Blazing Specter, Rituals, Flametongue Kavu, Phyrexian Scuta. Little was more fun than activating Tahngarth to bash a Nether Spirit out of the way, or Ritualing out a Flametongue on your opponent's turn 1 Birds in their 'no 2-drops' Fires deck.)
UW Birds, the ultimate Rock / Paper / Scissors deck in Odyssey - couldn't ever lose to UG Madness, couldn't ever beat a Mono-Black Control.
Affinity. First with BROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODSTAR, and real cards like Disciple of the Vault and Aether Vial.
The first days of Teachings in Block and Standard, in that exciting time before it was a netdeck and no-one had any idea what they were doing.
Faeries. <3
Dredge. <3 <3
Don't you mean balancing tings w/ Draco Explosion? That was another deck that was amazingly fun to play. I didn't play the dreams deck in any tournaments but I did build it and test with it I think.
