Hi all,

Just heard this morning that I'm through to the main part of the StarCityGames.com Talent Search (in the Limited category). Look out for the article during the week! Also wish Dan Barrett good luck in the Casual/Other category (apparently taking longer to judge due to, gulp, 160-odd entries.)

I used to love that word ("automagically") until someone pointed out that it has the same exact meaning as "automatically". Somehow that took the magic out of it.

Can't believe you guys are in the same pod. That sucks!

Just saw on the website that Tom was eliminated this week!!! Commiserations - though hopefully they'll sign him up anyway like Ferret hinted at in his judgment.

In happier news, congrats to Dan for making the final. Let's hope he can go all the way!

The voting split between Reeve and Barrett was like 5%, with something like 15 people choosing Dan over Tom. Not exactly a landslide there, is it?

Ouch! Too sad they couldn't be in separate pods and meet in the final!
