Someone should let Ochoa know the moustache thing isn't going to catch. Someone should really have told him before any Top 8 coverage...

i think he has swagger to the maximum

Just watched the finals, Ciska's deck is insane. Super lucky with the leylines, but that's why they're in the deck. Loved Watanabe's stone cold gain 2 life in response to the first grapeshot too.

Watanabe did everything he could to win that match without crossing any lines which was awesome.

Ciska's deck is so consistent once you know how to execute.

Will it be unplayable on MTGO or will you be able to win 1-0?

The deck has far too many clicks to work on modo, people will be able to time you out.

Well, if it can fight through the hate looks like we will see a divergent metagame then.  Modo different to paper.  Interesting.  Then again maybe everyone will just load up on 4 x Leyline/Rest in Peace and it will fade quickly.  Great metagame call, though!

Cifka actually said the deck was easier to play online then in real life. Much harder to make a mistake.

Moral Victory to Watanabe for the "gain 2"...

Rest in piece is far worse than leyline, leyline is irrelevant - all the breakfast player has to do is leave in one bounce spell and he can bounce infinite permanents.

I assume he meant Leyline of the Void...

t0 Leyline of the Void or t2 Rest in Peace means that they must have an Echoing Truth and 2 extra mana to go off.  I guess that's not that amazing.

What is the effective hate against the combo?  Ethersworn Canonist and Stony Silence also get bounced with Echoing Truth so are no more effective than Leyline or RIP.

Crypt/Jund Charm/other instant speed graveyard removal means they have to have two Second Sunrise/Faith's Reward plus the mana to cast them to go off.  Is that better or worse than Leyline style?

Is this deck like Legacy dredge where you have to devote 2/3rds of your sideboard to it?

Discard seems OK against them but not back breaking.  And they go off t3 or t4 so killing them before they do so seems hard.

A well placed hard counter is probably pretty bad times for the Eggs player.

Ah, yes I was thinking of the ivory mask one Simon!
