Yeah, not just Gerry T though, someone else mentioned the Cobra and as the match ups against U/W and the mirror post board resolve around being actually able to cast your spells it seems like an ok fit.
The monument is just cheeky and sometimes is a massive blow out. Also good against people that start running Wall of Omens.

Has anyone actually tested this? He doesnt seem as good as Cobra as he only adds 1 mana and it colourless.

He does give you 2 bodies for monument though?
Gerry T and others have said decent things about it. Also Hell's Thunder, of all things!
