Magic: the Gathering in the UK

Would really like to play in the GPT on Saturday, OBV I have no cards at all.

Anyone have a spare deck?

I would like to play 5 Colour Control or B/W Tokens as I had exerience with these in Standard. I happy to try something else as long as it tier 1, perhaps that Tempered Steel deck from the worlds deck tech?

Windbrisk Heights is tech.

Would you actually go to the US for it if you won? Guessing after travel award you'd still be looking at 500 for the trip minimum

I doubt I would go if the travel wasnt paid for. I just want to play extended really. Get a bit of a feel for the format before the PTQ's

I'm gonna be too busy playing the other fun formats, and you should too! FYI - The travel award is probably £4.25 per enrolled player (same as last time) = likely under a hundred quid when the flight is around £400.

We can always play some ext at my new house when I'm moved sometime before PTQs, proxy up a load of lands and what have you. Who needs Baker's house anymore! :D

Ok that sounds like a good idea. Your right its prob not worth it.

I was planning on doing the GPT but I like the look of the rubbish rare draft!

Rubbish rare draft costs 50p (you buy 45 rares off Mike for a fiver, sell them back at 10p each), and has infi prizes

I came 3rd last year and got about 15 boosters.

Ok so that's settled - Gary, someone told me you were not going to play in the Keith Loveys. Is this true?

I don't think it is true because I'm going to make you.

We cannot allow this to happen, or Gary must never speak to any of us or attend TGC again.

Hahaha - the funny thing is at the last Keith Loveys he said he wasn't going to attend anymore of Jason's events.

Bah! I was very drunk.

I spoke to Martin Cullarn and he said he may come Saturday too.
