GP Amsterdam!

So GP Amsterdam is approaching:

I'm really tempted by this and just wanted to find out who else is considering it.  I've got exactly one day of holiday entitlement left and am trying to figure out whether it would be best to take off the friday or monday.  I'm thinking monday because that way we won't have to miss our flight if we do well in the GP, and if we fail at the GP sunday night would be the perfect opportunity to head out on the lash.

Good stuff.  Do you guys have any idea for accommodation?  Generally looks a little pricey.  Just found this on tripadvisor:

Sweet, is that anywhere near the venue?

10 minute walk to rail station, then a 10 minute tram - it's right in the middle of the action in town though, so super worthwhile. Stayed there with Amar and Nathan last time, and we had a great time.

A private triple works out as around £38/night. An 8-12 bed dorm is £28 per night on hostelbookers.com

These prices are per person per night. Amsterdam is not cheap!

Given we're likely to have several thousand pounds worth of cards in our possession going with the triple seems like a good idea!

Deb just accepted a place on a course at Binger Film Lab in Amsterdam September to January.

So I will be spending at least a couple of months in Amsterdam over that period.

I shall attempt to get it to coincide with this!
