How rare were they back in the day?

How can I get hold of some?

Who has a massive stockpile that they are saving for a rainy day but could never use all of them?

I think i have about 10 of each, but im not 100% sure :S
"back in the day" it would be something written on a borrow list for not just me :D
Oh. So they weren't one-per-booster or something like that? I guess this is why people are charging a lot for them.
I have some from Ice age, not sure how many though. Why?
exactly.

think your best bet might be buying some coldsnap theme decks, at a guess?

Lots of EDH decks run them instead of vanilla basics to support a couple of spells.

I'm assembling an EDH deck database and it just got me curious.

EDH DB tidbit ... Top 20 most popular cards after doing monocolor generals (only):

912 Swamp
735 Island
733 Plains
641 Mountain
489 Forest
316 Snow-Covered Mountain
299 Snow-Covered Island
260 Snow-Covered Forest
230 Snow-Covered Swamp
188 Snow-Covered Plains
95 Sol Ring
78 Sensei's Divining Top
73 Strip Mine
66 Lightning Greaves
65 Gauntlet of Power
59 Mind's Eye
57 Oblivion Stone
54 Wasteland
54 Nevinyrral's Disk
49 Extraplanar Lens
They were basically one per booster (i think it was like 5 per 6 boosters).....of ice age block....
