I assume there was a thread already for this but I couldn't find it so I made another one.

 

Right my flights are booked (21st - 24th) I will be arriving on the Friday at 11.20am. What are people doing for accomodation as I haven't got anything like that sorted?

 

Also, who else is going?

I will only be at TGC till a little after 7pm and then going home, so testing before people start playing drafts there, so that is why I am not going to Darksphere!

 

I do not mind losing in testing if I learn more about decks and the format!

19! Plenty of competetive decks but also a good environment for testing homebrews or latest tech.

Decks included T.A, Junk, Hypergenesis, Uxx Control builds, ThopterTop, Goblins, Reanimator and ANT.

 

Do come along in two weeks if you can make it :)

Yup, we had nineteen! Jason would have made it a round 20 but then he'd have been beaten by more people than just me, so it's probably good that he couldn't make it *poke* *grin*. 

That said, I scrubbed out like a n00b. I got 3 points, but I also got a bye, so I'll let you work out how well I did!

Great night though. Excellent atmosphere and loads of banter and trading too. Nice to see Alan Harper pop along, though it's a shame he didn't actually have his deck with him to play. Next time, eh, Alan?

So next one in two weeks time! It'd be cool if we got past 20 players, so all of you fence-sitters stop sitting on the fence and come along. :D

After Amsterdam there will be less chance of me playing Legacy! I do not have time to play that much. I will look at modern for the next PTQ season. It helps I already have modern decks on modo!

I don't have a day job. I have to concentrate on reminding you how much I beat you at Magic. :)

Modern!? Wuss. I do however, accept your unspoken agreement that you'd never beat me in Legacy and thus have to make up some poor excuse as to why you don't want to be put to the test. Never mind eh. :P

Feel free to say you are better at legacy, we might play again soon, but it seems I am playing less than you at the moment!

I have the cards for modern online, so it easy to play. Not sure how good a format it is yet.

Yeah will need to seriously start looking at modern after Worlds for the PTQ season - although playing Boom//Bust Zoo sounds great - I did really well with it a few seasons ago during the extended PTQ season.
